Rob and sometimes Leigh

Rob's been a radio junkie and a music fan for as long as he can remember. "88.7 The River, serving Northern Wellington and Southern Grey Counties, is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of people and I’m just glad to be a part of it". Hosting mornings with Leigh is a privilege and I hope you enjoy it as much we (clearly) do. We truly have a blast doing this! We’ll keep you up to speed on the weather, community events, various other shenanigans, plus Rob's favourite feature, the Facebook status of the day. Join us for Mornings on 88.7 The River weekdays from 6am -10am.

Kendra

I am so excited to be a part of the 88.7 The River team! Don't get me wrong, I am not a veteran in the radio industry, but I love what I do! I was born and raised in North Wellington, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I moved up north for 2 years chasing my radio dream but in the end home is where the heart is, so I recently moved back! I have a dog, Levi - who you will hear so much about that keeps me entertained more times than not. In my spare time, I play lacrosse in Arthur and I love to sing (even though I am really not good at it!) I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you and am so happy to keep you company weekdays between 10 am and 2 pm.

Eric & Chris

Join Eric McLeod and Chris Holden for the River Ride Home. Top 5 list, celeb birthdays are just two of the daily features you'll hear, weekdays from 2 to 6 pm.

Eric McLeod is a lifelong Mount Forest resident, with a lifelong love of entertaining. McLeod dabbled in drama through high school, and was lead singer for the local band Quaid.
Chris Holden moved to Mount Forest five years ago and quickly fell in love with the community. Join Eric & Chris for the River Ride Home, weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m. Every day they celebrate some celebrity birthdays, play their Intangent Double Shot game, and run through their Top Five Near Five. And don't miss the traffic report, daily between 5:30 and 6. One day there might actually be traffic!
The duo are the biggest wrestling fans in Southwestern Ontario, so they also host our weekly show focusing on the squared circle, LowBlowRadio. As well as wrestling, McLeod and Holden go over all the news and action from the world of mixed martial arts every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

John Patrick

My wife and I moved to North Wellington over 20 yrs ago. I have seen many changes good and bad and as the old saying goes some things were meant to change. One amazing change for me is 88.7 The River. A voice for the communities of Northern Wellington and Southern Grey Counties. Highlighting local events and featuring local talent to keep you entertained, Stories to be shared and faith being shared. I have been in broadcasting for over 20 years and WOW it's changed over the years. The one thing that hasn't changed is me. Tune in Weekday Evenings between 8-10 to hear your favourite music from the 70's 80's 90's and today. ?

Len Robinson

Radio has been Len Robinson's passion since the mid 60's in the Windsor/Detroit area starting as a show producer at CKLW producing the Tom Shannon show. Then on air at a popular top 40 station in Hamilton. After honing his skills at CKOC, it was back the Big 8 in Windsor, this time behind the mic and not behind the glass. After CKLW, he moved up the dial (and the 401) to CFRA in Ottawa. Len has been in every area of broadcasting. Sales/sales management/programming, promotions. HE has now returned to spinning songs from the 70's on the River's 70's @ 7 show Friday and Saturday nights.

Brian Campbell

Brian enjoys Rollin’ on the River each weekend. He has spent the past decade honing his theatre skills in many festival productions, as well as with the Grey Wellington Theatre Guild. An accomplished drummer who played for many bands through the ’80s, he keeps his hand in the entertainment industry as an in-demand deejay. Brian is an avid reader, a master of pinball, and a self-proclaimed trivia god. (He also wrote this in the third-person so people might think he’s important enough to have a bio written about him!!)

Betty Lou

Betty Lou is enjoying her role as announcer of Saturday Morning Reflections on 88.7 The River. Music has always been a part of her life. While staying current with the latest hits and fondness of older classics, she has also been known to sing karaoke from time to time. She has worked many years in Long Term Care but creatively, she has used her skills in a variety of artistic expressions such as sketching, acrylic landscape painting, and a hobbyist photographer. Join Betty Lou by The River-side for reflections on Saturday mornings from 8 to noon for interesting music facts, celebrity birthdays and of course, the morning giggle.

Lauren West

All of your favourite country music and only the best of New Country.

Sam & Robin

Husband and wife duet Sam and Robin are musicians based out of Mount Forest Ontario. It all started in the basement, singing a couple of Beatles songs that eventually led to covers of
Country, Blues, Folk and Classic Rock songs by their favourite artists. They have played at numerous venues, community events, gallery openings and live radio in
Canada and the US. Their sweet, balanced harmonies have been enjoyed wherever they perform. Currently they are having fun hosting their radio show talking about their favourite thing, music. Electric Dirt, which airs Sunday nights at 7, is an extension of their musical journey, complimented by live shows.

Roslyn Fortier

Roslyn Fortier is the 3M girl, having spent her adult life in Montreal, Mississauga and since 2011, Mount Forest. She's come by her passion for musicals honestly having been involved in community theatre since high school.
