Rob Mattice

I’ve been a radio junkie and a music fan for as long as I can remember. 88.7 The River, serving Northern Wellington and Southern Grey Counties, is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of people and I’m just glad to be a part of it. Hosting mornings is a privilege and I hope you’re enjoying it as much I do. I’ll keep you up to speed on the weather, community events plus my favourite feature, the Facebook status of the day. Join me for Mornings on 88.7 The River weekdays from 6am -10am.

Kendra

I am so excited to be a part of the 88.7 The River team! Don't get me wrong, I am not a veteran in the radio industry, but I love what I do! I was born and raised in North Wellington, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I moved up north for 2 years chasing my radio dream but in the end home is where the heart is, so I recently moved back! I have a dog, Levi - who you will hear so much about that keeps me entertained more times than not. In my spare time, I play lacrosse in Arthur and I love to sing (even though I am really not good at it!) I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you and am so happy to keep you company weekdays between 10 am and 2 pm.

John Harada

I’m happy to be a part of the 88.7 The River on air team where I get to play your favourite music and share my Harada Data every weekday between 2-7pm ! Speaking of Harada Data, I was born in Toronto and raised in Mississauga where my radio career started when I ran my high school radio station, Raider Radio at Erindale Secondary School. Since then, I’ve worked on air in radio in Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, Kitchener-Waterloo and Sarnia and have also hosted/co-produced three TV shows. Join in on the fun, weekdays starting at 2 on 88.7 The River!

John Patrick

My wife and I moved to North Wellington over 20 yrs ago. I have seen many changes good and bad and as the old saying goes some things were meant to change. One amazing change for me is 88.7 The River. A voice for the communities of Northern Wellington and Southern Grey Counties. Highlighting local events and featuring local talent to keep you entertained, Stories to be shared and faith being shared. I have been in broadcasting for over 20 years and WOW it's changed over the years. The one thing that hasn't changed is me. Tune in Weekday Evenings between 8-10 to hear your favourite music from the 70's 80's 90's and today. ?

Brian Campbell

Brian enjoys Rollin’ on the River each weekend. He has spent the past decade honing his theatre skills in many festival productions, as well as with the Grey Wellington Theatre Guild. An accomplished drummer who played for many bands through the ’80s, he keeps his hand in the entertainment industry as an in-demand deejay. Brian is an avid reader, a master of pinball, and a self-proclaimed trivia god. (He also wrote this in the third-person so people might think he’s important enough to have a bio written about him!!)

Betty Lou

Betty Lou is enjoying her role as announcer of Saturday Morning Reflections on 88.7 The River. Music has always been a part of her life. While staying current with the latest hits and fondness of older classics, she has also been known to sing karaoke from time to time. She has worked many years in Long Term Care but creatively, she has used her skills in a variety of artistic expressions such as sketching, acrylic landscape painting, and a hobbyist photographer. Join Betty Lou by The River-side for reflections on Saturday mornings from 8 to noon for interesting music facts, celebrity birthdays and of course, the morning giggle.

Roslyn Fortier

Roslyn Fortier is the 3M girl, having spent her adult life in Montreal, Mississauga and since 2011, Mount Forest. She's come by her passion for musicals honestly having been involved in community theatre since high school.
