The River Classic Golf Tournament

The River Classic takes place at the gorgeous Pike Lake Golf Course, half way between Harriston and Mount Forest just off Hwy 89 on Wednesday September 25, 2019. For more information on this beautiful and challenging course, check out pikelake.com. Here’s some details:

Shotgun scramble at 1:00pm
Come early and enjoy various lunch specials for River Classic players only.
8 players at each hole (so sign up the whole gang)
Steak Dinner with a silent auction table.
Live entertainment with Cara Smith during dinner.

In addition to a great day of golf and a delicious steak dinner, there are lots of surprises in store. This is the first year for this event, but we hope – with your support, it won’t be the last! The River Classic is going to be a unique and inspired event that will bring together some of our most important community organizations. Most importantly, proceeds from this event will support each organization equally.

The River Classic is a unique opportunity for area golfers to support not one but four outstanding community organizations; Big Brothers Big Sisters North Wellington, Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington, Get In Touch for Hutch and 88.7 The River. By participating in The River Classic, as a sponsor, a golfer or both, you are helping support youth and their Mental Health, reducing crime, and endorsing local, community radio. All these organizations benefit residents of Mount Forest, North Wellington County and area.
