Palmerston Monthly Dining Event for Seniors – December 2022

The Seniors’ Centre for Excellence invites you to our December Palmerston Dining Event for Seniors. Please join us for a warm meal, and dessert with coffee/tea, and meet our interesting guest speaker, Ian Evans – an Extreme Adventurer who will share memories of his many travel adventures with us during his presentation – “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!”

A bit more information about our guest speaker: Ian Evans, a chartered accountant from Elora turned Extreme Adventurer, and the subject of the 2016 award-winning adventure documentary called Lunatic will be speaking about his many extreme travel adventures and the lessons learned. From skiing to the South Pole, cycling across Canada, the Australian Outback, and the Arctic Circle to climbing 5 of the “7 summits” in the European Alps, Kilimanjaro, South America, and Alaska. “As you get older, ‘Keep doing crazy stuff!’” – Ian Evans
