Hey everyone! Mount Forest Horticulture Society is gearing up for a great 2019! Memberships are available! They can be purchased at any of our meetings or at the Mount Forest M&M Foods.
Did you know that by being a member of a horticulture society many nurseries and garden centers will give you a discount on nursery stock? You just have to ask and present your membership card! This is one of the many benefits of being involved in your local Horticultures Society!
Mount Forest 2019 Membership Fees: Adults – $10 Students $7 Family $15
The Mount Forest Horticulture Society has a wide variety of speakers scheduled for the year. We welcome everyone to join us for our meeting the third Wednesday of every month In the basement of the Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street E.
The first meeting is April 17th. Potluck dinner starts at 6:15 p.m, followed by our speaker beginning at 7:00 PM. We are very excited to have the Trial Garden Manager / Research Technician for the University of Guelph, Rodger Tschanz, MSc., speaking to us about “Horticulture Trends and new plants” and matching the new plants from the Universities trials with recent gardening trends.
