A Wellington County OPP officer recently stopped a vehicle on Tower Street South in Fergus. As a result, a 23-year-old from Arthur was charged with Driving without a License or insurance. The defendant is scheduled to appear at provincial offences court in Guelph on May 17.
Days later, police responded to a complaint of a red sedan driving erratically on Parkside Drive West in Fergus. A 75-years-old from Fergus was charged with Operation while Impaired and Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus. The accused is scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on April 21. Finally, a silver S.U.V. hit a mailbox on Wellington Road 6 in Minto. A 29-year-old driver from Palmerston was charged with driving without a licence. The driver is scheduled to appear at provincial offences court in Guelph on May 17.
