Several local drivers face charges after various recent incidents.

A Wellington County OPP officer recently stopped a vehicle on Tower Street South in Fergus. As a result, a 23-year-old from Arthur was charged with Driving without a License or insurance. The defendant is scheduled to appear at provincial offences court in Guelph on May 17.Days later, police responded to a complaint of a red sedan driving erratically on Parkside Drive West in Fergus. A 75-years-old from Fergus was charged with Operation while Impaired and Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus. The accused is scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on April 21.Finally, a silver S.U.V. hit a mailbox on Wellington Road 6 in Minto. A 29-year-old driver from Palmerston was charged with driving without a licence. The driver is scheduled to appear at provincial offences court in Guelph on May 17.
