CUPE files notice of strike action

Negotiations between the Ontario government and the Canadian Union of Public Employees have broken down, and CUPE have filed a five-day notice to return to strike action.
CUPE released a statement today.
Minister of Education Stephen Lecce said the government is “very disappointed” by what it calls an “unnecessary” decision to strike.
