The H.O.P.E Committee for Wellington North and Minto is holding their annual community barbecue this Friday.
H.O.P.E – Healthy Opportunities Promoting Empowerment – Destigmatizing Mental Health is reminding us that our collective actions and words give a powerful voice to the difference each one of us, alone and together can make.
The barbeque will take place in downtown Mount Forest from 11:30 – 1:30 in the parking lot beside Plume’s Main Street Interiors.
For a donation, you can drop by for a hamburger, chips, pop and a cookie. And THIS year, you’ll have the option to either walk through or drive through.
All proceeds of the barbeque will go toward initiatives that create opportunities for people to learn, talk about mental health and engage in fostering their own well-being.
