West Grey Public Library Offers Back-to-School Programming, Events as it Re-Opens to the Public

The West Grey Public Library wants to help you get your primary-aged children off to a good start this September.

While the Durham Branch opens for pick up and computer access only by appointment starting August 25th (Wed to Fri 10-2, Tue 4-8), our Zoom In! series, which interviews different experts and offers participants a chance to ask questions online, begins with Get/Back to School!, on August 20th for parents of primary-age students, about starting or returning to school, with hints for preparing their young students for class life.

The session features teacher Lise Gunby, faculty member at Edge Hill Country School, an independent school just outside Durham in West Grey.  Lise holds her Ontario Teaching Certificate as well as Waldorf teaching certification and is qualified in primary, junior, intermediate, and senior divisions.

Participants don’t have to be a library cardholder.  Register by emailing kimm@westgreylibrary.com by August 19th to get a message with a Zoom link.

Details and updates will be posted outside the branch, online through the Library’s Facebook account, and on the West Grey Library website www.westgreylibrary.com.
