A Palmerston man is facing impaired driving charges, after police were tipped off by someone at an LCBO.
Early in the afternoon of Christmas Eve, Wellington County OPP responded to a possible impaired driver that was just refused service at the LCBO and was last seen travelling on Main Street in Palmerston.
Officers located the vehicle travelling northbound on Arthur Street in Harriston and attempted to stop the vehicle however it continued on until it was forced to stop at a red light. Police spoke to the driver, who failed a roadside screening test.
57 year old Trevor Quigley of Palmerston faces Impaired Driving charges, and is due in court at the end of the month.
