Palmerston man facing drug charges after Perth County RIDE stop.

PALMERSTON – A 41 year old man from Palmerston is facing several charges related to drug trafficking after a RIDE program in Perth County.

Police say they found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, which prompted them to do a search, where they found a controlled substance. The stop led officers to conduct a search warrant on the mans home a few days later where they say they found cocaine, Methamphetamine and brass knuckles. The estimated street value of the drugs is $28,000.

OPP SEIZE DRUGS DURING TRAFFIC STOP IN NORTH PERTH  

– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Possession of a prohibited device – brass knuckles
– Possession of imitation weapon for Dangerous Purpose
