WELLINGTON COUNTY – If you got a traffic ticket for not wearing a seatbelt last week, you are not alone.
Wellington OPP charged 24 people for not buckling up during their fall seatbelt campaign. The campaign ran from October 2nd to the 11th. The campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of the occupant restraint system when travelling in a moving motor vehicle.
The Fall Seat-belt Campaign has ended but the importance of wearing a seat-belt when you are in a moving motor vehicle never ends.
