Arson at Durham Conservation Area

DURHAM – West Grey Police are investigating an arson at the Durham Conservation Area. 

Police say the fire was already out when crews arrived, however the blaze caused severe damage to the ladies washroom. It appears someone lit the paper towel dispense on fire which then spread and burned several walls and the roof. 

Police are looking to the public for information and asking that anyone who may have information contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS to provide information anonymously. Crime Stoppers Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
