A Brampton man has a long walk home.

MAPLETON – Wellington County OPP stopped a sedan racing down the country roads near the Sixth Line last week. The officer had the car locked in on radar well over 130km per hour in an 80km zone. That’s a street racing charge right there. The man had his vehicle and license seized on the spot, only problem is the license was already suspended. The 33 year old is being charged with Racing a Motor Vehicle and Driving While under Suspension.

The OPP issue this word of caution to drivers that if you get caught racing, the road ahead will be rough. Automatic tow and suspensions are included with each stunt driving or racing charge.
