ALMA – The Country Farm and Home Safety Association is hosting their 4th annual Pancake Breakfast.
Everyone is invited for some pancakes, sausage and real maple syrup from local Alma Maple Syrup producer Morley Trask. The breakfast is happening at the Alma Community Hall on Saturday February 23rd from 9 am to 11:45.
It’s a free family event (donations are welcome but optional). The one day event focuses on children and safety around the farm and home.

“It’s our goal is to teach the farming community about safety prior to the busy season, in hopes that the message is passed on around the kitchen table to all family members. If one injury can be prevent, or one life can be saved, we have accomplished something from hosting the Pancake Breakfast.”
Electrical, ambulance, ATV, grain bin, chemical, bicycle, gun and PTO safety booths will be set up around the Alma Community hall” They will also have Lectic Larry of North Waterloo Hydro’s Hazard Hamlet is popular with kids from all ages.
