DURHAM – The Durham and Community Health Care Foundation has received a $1000 grant from RBC Canada.
The donation was made on behalf of the RBC employees who volunteer their time to support the foundation. They provided support in assisting with the foundation’s newsletter and direct mail preparation.
RBC Canada believes volunteering is a fundamental act of citizenship and encourages employees through initiatives like the RBC Day of Service Grant, RBC Community Spirit Award and the RBC Employee Volunteer Grant.
This money granted will go towards digital improvements to the X-Ray machine in the Durham Hospital. This will improve overall performance of the machine including better and faster results and the ability to send digital scans to referring hospitals and specialists.
