Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington has unveiled a new vehicle and look for its program.
The vehicle is a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. The larger model will be more reliable and benefit CSGW unlike any vehicle before
CSGW Board of Directors Vice Chair, Deryck West explains how the vehicle is better for them.
“We cover all of the City of Guelph and County of Wellington and that requires a vehicle that can move people and the pylons, tents and signs we use for fundraising events, as well as advertise for the program.”
The trucks new look shows a dramatic black and white puzzle motif. It includes the toll-free number, website and recognition of the three major vehicle supporters; Wellington Motors, Ontario Provincial Police and a private donor who is noted by his initials.
West says they are very thankful for their supporters.
“We couldn’t have acquired this vehicle without partner support. It’s appropriate to recognize these significant contributions; we are grateful.”
Program Coordinator Sarah Bowers-Peter shares CSGW’s excitement.
“This truck is a moving billboard for CSGW. We look forward to bringing the new truck to various communities and remind people that they could have the piece of the puzzle that could stop a crime.”
