WEST PERTH – Being greeted when returning home is always nice, unless you are greeted by two people you don’t know going through your property.
A resident of West Perth was surprised to arrive home to find a male and female who had broken into the property.
The resident immediately contacted police, and the pair were arrested at the address on Perth Road 145 on Saturday.
Arrested and charged in the incident are 25 year old James Ryan Baille of West Perth with the following offences:
Break and enter a dwelling house;
Possession of a prohibited weapon;
Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order;
Possession of property obtained by crime;
Possession of schedule I substance (methamphetamine); and
Possession of property over $5000.00
The second suspect caught is 53 old Colleen Baille also of West Perth, who was charged with break and enter.
Officer’s dug a bit further, and revealed that the female was wanted by another police service, and she was also arrested on the strength of the outstanding warrant.
Both suspects were held for bail hearings. The male was later released on a Recognizance of Bail; the female remains in custody.
