Multiple car crashes over the weekend involving alcohol over the weekend.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Police responded to multiple car crashes over the weekend involving alcohol.
Three men were arrested and charged after a single vehicle roll-over and 2 single vehicle collisions.
Around 7:30pm on Friday on Wellington Road 22, near Oustic, a 50 year old Leanid Zanko from Kitchener was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with over 80mg of alcohol per 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. He was also given a 90 day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and 7 day Vehicle Impoundment. Zanko is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on April 4, 2018.
Around 6:30pm on Saturday on Wellington Road 19, east of Fergus, a 30 year old Michael James Stewart from Fergus was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with over 80mg of alcohol per 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. He was also given a 90 day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and 7 day Vehicle Impoundment. Stewart is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on April 6, 2018.
Around 3:00 am on Saturday on Miller Crescent, Palmerston, 18 year old Nolan Joseph Huxter from Palmerston has was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with over 80mg of alcohol per 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code after he crashed into a utility box. He was also given a 90 day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and 7 day Vehicle Impoundment. Huxter is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on March 20, 2018.
OPP are reminding people to never drive under the influence of alcohol in any circumstance.
