GREY HIGHLANDS – Everyone knows that using your cell phone while driving is a no no, using your phone while intoxicated is an even bigger no no.
An OPP officer stopped a driver yesterday afternoon on Toronto Road in Flesherton after spotting the driver using his cell phone.
After speaking to the driver about the cell phone use, the officer determined the man had been drinking alcohol, at which point administered a road side breath test. The driver failed the test and was taken to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further testing which also came up as a fail.
OPP have charged 54 year old Kevin Peter Huson of Grey Highlands with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on April 12, 2018.
