Car Fire on Hwy 21

SAUGEEN FIRST NATION – Not much is left of a 2013 Volkswagen after a collision that resulted in the vehicle catching fire and became a glowing fire ball.
Bruce OPP were called out to the collision at the intersection of Hwy 21 and B Line, around 12:25 a.m. Sunday morning.  Officers say the lone male driver went off the road and then struck a tree, causing the fire.  The driver was able to exit the vehicle on his own when it burst into flames.  He was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
Police have charged 23 year old Cody Osborne of Arran-Elderslie with disobey stop sign – fail to stop, as per the Highway Traffic Act.
The collision remains under investigation, Bruce Peninsula OPP are urging anyone with information about this incident to call 1-888-310-1122.
