Two separate accidents caused havoc in the region on Hwy 6 on Wednesday morning. First, at approx 6:00 am a car, driven by a lone female occupant, drove into the side of a tractor trailer as it was exiting Chalmers Fuel on to hwy 6 in Arthur. The impact caused the truck’s load of soybeans to spill onto the highway causing traffic to be re-routed for several hours.
Shortly after that a two vehicle collision at Hwy 6 and side road #3 south of Mount Forest sent both drivers to hospital.
There were no injuries in the grain truck accident
