ARTHUR – Students from Kenilworth were able to work with Wellington County OPP officers to help stock the shelves at the local food bank.
On Thursday grade 5 and 6 students and local OPP officer participated in the “Shop with a Cop” program. The program allows OPP to engage local youth in a positive environment. Students are able to partner up with a cop to fill a grocery cart with $100 of non-perishable food items which are taken to the local food bank.
The food was purchased thanks to a generous donation from the Arthur Branch of the TD Bank.
OPP members were pleased to assist the students of the Kenilworth Public School, The Arthur TD Bank, The Arthur Food Bank, and all those who find themselves in need.
