Elora Gorge Fall Sends Man To Hospital

ELORA – A man was airlifted to Toronto Hospital with life threatening injuries after he fell while trying to climb out of the Elora Gorge.
The 20 year old was hiking the gorge with three other men yesterday evening. They climbed approximately 50 to 60 feet in order to get out, but they noticed they were about the tresspass onto a residential property.
The man fell to the bottom while the group was trying to climb back down. The Centre Wellington Fire Department had to lift the man out of the gorge using rope and a stretcher.
