MOUNT FOREST – The Trillium Roots Community Fund has made a pledge of $5,000 to the Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.
The donation will used to purchase an ear, nose and throat or ENT microscope, which s a priority equipment for the hospital. Having this equipment in Mount Forest will keep patients from having to go to city hospitals to have ENT related treatment done.
The Trillium Roots Community Fund was established by Trillium Mutual Insurance Company in Listowel to administer the companies philanthropy program. The Roots mandate is provide meaningful financial assistance and support to rural communities in the area. The company has recently announced that up to $204,000.00 would be available for capital projects in 2017, with a focus in the areas of Healthcare, Recreation & Wellness, Emergency Response, Agricultural and Eco/Sustainability.
